Step-by-Step Guide

1. Prepare the Clay: Knead the clay by folding and pressing repeatedly to make it pliable. Tear off a small piece, roll it into a smooth ball, and set it aside.
    
2. Center the Clay: Slightly moisten your hands to prevent sticking. Place the clay ball in the center of the pottery wheel and press gently. Moisten your fingers again and start centering by shaping the clay into a symmetrical cone.
    
3. Turn on the Wheel & Adjust Speed: Switch on the pottery wheel and regulate the speed with the dial. Start slow and increase speed as needed.
    
4. Shape the Clay: Use modeling tools or your hands to form the clay into the desired shape. Use various tools for trimming, hollowing, and detailing.
    
5. Refine & Remove: Slightly moisten hands and tools for smoothing. Once satisfied, carefully detach the piece from the wheel using a loop or needle tool.
    
6. Let Dry: Place your creation on a flat surface and let it dry completely in the air. Drying time varies depending on thickness.
